You can design your own schedule from a curriculum of more than 30 workshops, courses, presentations and activities around three thematic areas: The Arts, Nature, and Wellness. Prominent Speakers will provide insights throughout the weekend.

How Do I Sign Up?

It’s simple….and can all be handled through the event website

Step 1

Review the courses (the arts, nature and green technology, wellness) and schedule.

Step 2

Purchase an All-Weekend or Daily Ticket and Pre-register for your choices.
Only a limited number of tickets are available.(note: certain workshops and courses have very limited class size and registration will close as soon as they are filled). You will receive confirmation via email.

Step 3

Make your own accommodation reservations. Autumn is a popular time for visitors – make reservations early to avoid disappointment.

Step 4

Check in at the Event Information Center on October 5th and receive your program materials. See you there!

Event Highlights

Opening Reception

Meet participants, presenters of the curriculum, the Director of the Academy Art Museum, and international photographers, when a photographic exhibition “Women and Children in the World” produced for this event by the International Photographic Society of Washington will be opened.

Guest Speakers

Learn from Earl A. Powell III, Director of the National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C. how one of the finest collections in the world came to be. Hear straight talk from William C. Baker, President of the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, on how well we are “Saving the Bay”, our national treasure. Join Prof. Kay Jamison, celebrated author and Johns Hopkins faculty member, as she discusses her newest research into women, mood disorders, and the creative process.

Activities to Try

Try something you have always wanted – select from more than 30 options to explore in the fields of the Arts, Nature, and Wellness. Join the First Friday Gallery Walk. Go Bird Watching. Take a Yoga class. Try Pilates. Be part of a studio art workshop – pastel or oil. Hone your photographic skills. See the latest ‘green’ technology. Take up your pen in writing or poetry. Learn about slowing aging or improving balance in your life. Do something new – outside of your everyday life.

Walk the picturesque streets of Easton. Shop the exquisite boutiques, dine in charming restaurants, chat over tea at art galleries, join artist talks and demonstrations, visit the historic 17th century Quaker Meetinghouse, learn about history and legend on a guided tour of historic venues. There is plenty of free time to kick back on your own, even a free round of golf (cart fee only).
